Fantastic My grandmother and I use this app everytime we take a walk, it maps accordingly, and the km it's accurate as we keep track with another device. May be off by one or two numbers but the main km is always correct. Never has failed or stopped working. Very user friendly as well. I mean a 62 year old women was able to figure it out on her own for the first time and she's not tech savvy ;)
Best version yet, but still to improve. Works pretty well for me, and I now enjoy using it to keep a record of walks and runs. Still some freezes, and also clashes with my music app, but on the whole, much better thanks. Only complaint is that I can no longer manually change or override the time of my run, as it normally takes around 30 seconds to stop my time for a run, which I can no longer revert back to the correct time anymore. Better in some ways, not in others!
Great App - Terrible Birthday input screen Love the app BUT I was born in 1952. To scroll backwards 1 month at a time would have taken 20 minutes to enter my birthday. Come on guys there are a lot of tech savvy seniors who love to walk. I had to choose the "default" Birthday.
Still trying the app This is my first time using the updated app. It appears to be more accurate, at least the walk the app mapped looks correct. Unfortunately for the app to be accurate I cannot use battery saver which now comes with its own challenges. Overall seems proved but I need to test it more.
My Fitness Pal integration I like the fact that my walks can be synced with My Fitness Pal rather than manually entered. What I don't like is that the app easily pauses while I'm walking, even while holding the phone in my hand.
A Problem! I have used this the first time today & whether I kept the phone in my hand or in my pant pocket the app kept pausing and then resuming. The frequency was almost every 4 or 5 seconds and was just very annoying. I also feel that the distance it is recording is more than the actual distance. But I'll have to check that out another day.
