Metal Empire is an unofficial Metal Archives (AKA Encyclopaedia Metallum) client for Android.

You can search for bands, albums, artists and browse their basic info, members, albums, reviews, similar bands and trivia. Lyrics are also reachable for the album tracks.

You can bookmark bands, albums and artists, your reading history also available.

You also can browse random bands/albums/reviews with this app. Metal Empire also has an experimental Youtube integration.

Ratings and reviews

Very good over all and a great replacement for the defunct app that was available before. Some information is not available or not easily viewable in some cases, which is why I subtract a star. I would like to be able to pivot on band members to other projects, labels, countries, etc. That would make it five stars worthy. Great job!

Much more user friendly than the old version, and now includes all information on bands. Load times are painfully slow though. Edit: new update has fixed load times, as the response says. Uprating.
