Love this simple NFC card scanner, but I've always felt uneasy storing my card data when I haven't personally seen the code. I'm super curios if stored card data is encrypted at rest, & surely it's not uploaded anywhere? (one would hope!) but I never thought to simply ask 🤔 After using it the better part of a year, I still obfuscate my cards' scanned info, just for my own piece of mind in the off chance the developer is an evil genius, compromised, coerced, or who knows about the future owner?

Doesn't read anything even if the NFC reader indicates communication with the cards. Just rises up message to not move the card. No information about the card has been ever displayed no matter how long the card stays next to the reader of the smartphone.

As good as this sounds DO NOT TRUST THIS APP. I scanned a expired card and it worked great, but i discarded the card but it did save it anyways! This app might send your card info somewhere and might be used for skimming.
