I use this weekly for my HITT runs. You can use "Simple" timer or "Advanced" for more nuance programs. You do have to pay to save your programs, but I don't mind re-inputting the program. Saving for a Lifetime Sub which is a little high (currently ~$20, ~$2 for monthly sub), but worth it. Even free, it's extremely functional, no ads (which makes apps super clunky), no frills/ clean interface, pings and text-to-speech alerts, countdown, custom alert volume), etc.

Great, until I tried to add more intervals to a workout. It let me do this and only when I went to save did it inform me that I had to pay $7 for the privilege. Now, I don't mind premium features being paywalled. Devs have to make money too! But if you're going to do it, be upfront about it. Don't let users waste their time. I've bought the premium versions of apps before, and if I'd known the limits going in, I might have purchased this one. Instead, I'm uninstalling and finding something else.

The info is right in the middle of the screen. The app allows to almost try everything for free. But you have to read the information which is on the screen.

1. You should put the things you can do in the free version vs the pro version in the description of the app before they even decide to download it. 2. Yes you can test things, but as soon as you close the app out, all of that data is gone and you have to re-enter it every time you workout. It's not usable unless you pay and that part needs to be clear in the description. I'm not saying it's not worth the price, but people need to know when searching that this isn't a free app.

The app states clearly what you can do in the free version and what you can do in the pro version for a one time (!) purchase of a small amount. You can test almost every function without payment. Where is manipulation here? The development of an app costs time and money. If you don't want to support it, there are plenty of other apps you can use.

What’s new
