This app is for a local food delivery company, in the Capital Region of NY. It's a pretty good company, and the app usually works pretty well. Many times orders don't ring in audibly, my phone vibrates... But since I'm in navigation at the time, I sometimes miss that an order is ringing in. Not sure if this problem is due to using an Android, or intrinsic problem with the app!

It seems counterintuitive at first, but you really will be better off going with one of the national platforms for gig work. Ideally multipapping if you can. Mealeo skims tips and lies to customers, restaurants, and drivers. Restrictive schedules, the inability to decline offers, and outdated pay- you're essentially something between a gig worker without the freedom and an employee without the security/benefits. Also good luck getting your bag deposit back. Stay away.

be prepared to make 12$/hr or less before gas. long distance gets you a dollar or two at best. most orders will have you waiting 15+ minutes, but 30 is not uncommon. they will either dump you in the middle of nowhere at the end of the night or give you no orders for an hour but force you to stay on shift. the navigation is frequently off, and having to swipe twice with food in your hands for ever order is annoying. stick with other delivery apps, they advertise better pay but dont deliver.
