About this app

Medtronic makes it easy for heart device patients to stay connected to their doctor. The MyCareLink Smart Monitor for pacemaker patients, including CRT-P, combines a Reader and an app, making this a convenient way to send heart device information remotely to your doctor between clinic visits or whenever you’re not feeling well. The app can only be used with a MyCareLink Smart Reader, which is prescribed by the patient’s doctor.

The MyCareLink Smart™ Mobile App allows Medtronic pacemaker patients, including CRT-P, to:
• Send heart device information wherever you go*− just remember your Reader
• See the date you last sent heart device information to your clinic

Trying to interrogate the unit. Tap the green arrow and little thing goes around in a circle and won't do anything else. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and checked batteries. When I got to the point where a finger comes out and is telling you to power it up, blue light flashes but unit doesn't know it's on. Started over and can't get past the first step. Terrible!

First time to use. Couldnt reach phone Assistance, though I tried several calls. I did not do Page 8 of the Monitor Setup Guide. No screen displayed. I sent a transmission and it relayed to somewhere. I then saw the check mark on page 11 from my phone, and hit the Home button. The blue light flickered for awhile, then shut off. I can only hope my recording is received properly. Be good if I could get a call or txt to assure that, All went well."

Thanks for the robo response, Medtronic. I spent nearly an hour on the phone with customer service trying to get the app to work on my LG, as it had worked fine for the last three readings. Loading the app on my husband's lower-level Samsung Galaxy phone was their final suggestion and the only one that worked. Thank goodness we have different phones and carriers.
