The app can be used to automatically send heart device information to your clinic – wherever you go. Cellular and Wi-Fi availability applies. How does this work when it feels like something is wrong in my chest, but the app won't open yet again? Looks like I have to reinstall again. With my last phone ( the same exact android model), I had no problem with the app. Loaded onto this phone & it disconnects all. the. time. Disconnects often happen two to three times a wk. If I'm lucky, it only happens every 2 wks or so. Not like I have a choice in the app. Perhaps it's a stress test to see how my heart handles the frustration.

The app drains my phone battery even in airplane mode - often 100% power at bedtime and 40% or less in the morning. Appears to run in the background even when the app is unloaded (app icon appears at the top of the screen and can't be dismissed). Often freezes on a second blue screen when opening - I have to do a "force stop" to get it started again (android phone Samsung S8+). If I'm out of the house and need to conserve phone power I "force stop" it and re-load it when I get home. Ugh.

90% of the time the MyCareLink Heart app fails. The APP freezes on the opening landing page and never actually logs into the data. Repeat 100X and maybe once or twice the APP will actually open and display connectivity. Good luck with Tech Support. One goes through menu after menu after menu only to get the message: "We are closed, call back during normal business hours." Of course they don't tell you what the normal business hours are. Perhaps the product is good, but the APP fails.
