About this app

PulseUnlock (formerly PC Bio Unlock) allows you to unlock your PC using your phone's biometric scanner.

Windows features:
- Unlock the Windows logon/lock screen
- Unlock UAC prompts

Linux features:
- Unlock the login/lock screen (GNOME, GDM, KDE, SDDM, LightDM, Cinnamon, Hyprlock)
- Unlock sudo and polkit (pkexec)
- Unlock SSH logins for configured hosts

Connection methods:
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth (requires Wi-Fi for initial pairing)
- Cloud (unlock from anywhere over the internet, subscription required)

There is a Pro version with additional features:
- Direct unlocking (shows the biometric prompt immediately)
- Auto unlock (when the phone is in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth range)
- Wearable notification (allows unlocking from a watch)
- Unlimited devices
- Ad-free

There is also a Cloud subscription. It includes everything in Pro, plus unlock from anywhere. Traffic is end-to-end encrypted.

Security:
Your PC password never leaves your PC. It is stored encrypted on the computer; the phone holds the key and never sees the password.
Traffic between your devices is encrypted with a key created during pairing. Cloud traffic is end-to-end encrypted, so the servers cannot read it.

Additional notes:
To pair locally, both devices must be on the same network or Wi-Fi.
The unlock process can be cancelled at any time by pressing Ctrl+Alt on the PC.
Wake on LAN is also supported and a widget is available.
There's a Wear OS companion app for Wake on LAN too, and it comes with a tile so you can wake your devices without having to reach for your phone.

Ratings and reviews

Unlocking is extremely slow, and if the 'Show Minimized' option is enabled, it causes issues with notifications.

I really love this app! I just wish they would add more features, like Lock, Restart, and Shutdown. then it will get 5 /5

worst app not working even I have connected with my same wifi it's always displays connect to wifi , and tried with else option null is working, worst for me and waiting if someone help me out getting it fixed
