PC Bio Unlock allows you to unlock your PC using your phone's biometric scanner.

Windows features:
- Unlock the Windows logon/lock screen
- Unlock the UAC prompt

Linux features:
- Unlock sudo
- Unlock polkit (pkexec)
- Support for GNOME, GDM, KDE, SDDM, LightDM and Cinnamon

Pairing methods:
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth (requires Wi-Fi for initial pairing)

There is a Pro version with additional features:
- Auto unlock (when the phone is in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth range)
- Wearable notification (allows unlocking from a watch)
- Unlimited devices

Security:
During the pairing process, a random key is generated to encrypt all traffic between your devices.
This key is not accessible to normal users. Your credentials are encrypted and stored on your PC.

Additional notes:
To pair, both devices must be on the same network or Wi-Fi. The pairing server uses port 43295 by default. If you are using a custom firewall, you may need to add a rule for this port.
The pairing process can be cancelled at any time by pressing Ctrl+Alt on the PC.
Wake on LAN is also supported and a widget is available.
There is a Wear OS companion app for Wake on LAN as well.

I had problems before getting this to work, I came back to try it every now and then and now it seems like everything is now working seamlessly. Whatever issue with Windows not detecting my password seems to be fixed! The app is perfect for my use case now and is great for another layer of security wherever you can avoid entering your password.

Would easily be a five star, but with talkback, the android screen reader, I can't access the button to add a device. The talkback "describe screen" feature tells me there is a plus button, but said button can't be accessed either by swiping or explore by touch. Litterally the only elements accessible are the devices and settings tabs. The settings tab seems to be fully accessible, but if I can't actually add my device, app is useless.

The app works well, but: - When going idle and PC locks, the app is turning on the screen to unlock, which consumes a lot of battery because I'm away from both devices. - If disabling the option to show over other apps (so it doesn't wake up the screen), the app stops working and doesn't send the notification to unlock. - If buying the app to use wearable to unlock, the app still wakes up and keeps the phone's display on. - When away, after I return it says "Cancelled" so I can't unlock it anym
