A dictionary app is a great tool, and MW's pedigree is undeniable. However, words often do not show up in the app, but do when viewed on the MW site in browser. The touch feature (allowing user to tap almost any word on screen and link to its definition), while potentially very handy, is WAY too sensitive, making the simple act of scrolling up or down a nightmare. The app is structured in a way that is intuitive, but it needs a lot of tweaking.

the best dictionary app there is. I've had it on the front screen of my phone(s) for years. one can save words, see recent lookups, access the thesaurus, (and save words from there as well), and read the information provided about the word of the day. I do wish more articles were available in the app, but I'm fine using the website for those, (exceptional writing, btw).

Takes too long to find a simple definition and the user interface is jumble confusing buttons. I was looking for a dictionary app with quick lookups and no distractions of all the extra features trying to build a mapping system of my brain to give me a great user experience. Too slow and not a simple app to use.
