Not the same as the version I had on my previous phone, features are not the same. Irritating that I had to download this, and all these stupid ads. I never had ads on my previous phone. But it's either this, or stupid Google messages. Can't get any group messages!!!! On the verge of going back to Google messages

there is a ad for tik Tok on the bottom of the screen every time I try to close out it pops up and I have to wait for it to stop doing it and then I can go into your app

Ad plays befor I can open up to a text. Whoever decided to make an ad play before opening up a text message app in this recent update is an idiot. I've used this app for years never an issue a preferred it over any other app for messaging. However now I have to watch an ad before I can read my text and and ad sits mixed in with my text messages, this leads to inadvertent opening on something I don't need or want. Remove the ads and restore the old app.
