Ratings and reviews

It's awesome that we can edit excel sheets on our phones, but the mobile app is not very intuitive. Some things are a pain to figure out how to do, for example simply inserting cells, and some thing are clunky, like selecting a cell to edit. It makes sense that the mobile app wouldn't be microsoft's focus, but I think the idea to try and get the ability to do everything on mobile, instead of doing a few things well, was misguided.

Well, I totally depended on Excel during my engineering career of ~60 some years. The spreadsheet improved productivity by at least a factor of 10 and offered the opportunity to evaluate alternatives not available before! Now, with updates after the introduction of multiple sheets in about 1992, to the original computer version, I am having trouble keeping up. I'm sure younger generations have no trouble with good upgrade intentions but, older gens like me? Concatenate, and having to suddenly ?

Works great good selection of templates and functions. It should come with the operating system. That used to be the advantage of picking an operating system. I always do everything to avoid monthly subscriptions Or high yearly subscriptions or purchase price. Once I buy an app I expected to work for some years to come.
