Ratings and reviews

usually my go-to word processor, but it's been so garbage lately. other reviews mentioned how it can sometimes merge words and jump the cursor to a completely different section of the doc while writing, and it's extremely annoying. now it's crashing constantly, and the auto-save isn't consistent enough to catch everything. very frustrating trying to do anything when I have to save just about every sentence or risk losing what I've written.

It used to be good, just meh, now. It doesn't do well on mobile if you cross platforms to another app. The worst thing that forces me to find workarounds for is that it doesn’t allow me to use my multiple-entry paste function. Instead, it has its own that - in 2025!- has one entry and it only allows one entry from your clipboard. ONE!! Cleary, they aren’t interested in mobile users at all. All good features require Windows. Other vendors do as well or better and don't abuse personal data.

Files in my 'list' keeps disappearing. I keep often used files in my list. But when I open Word, some of these files are missing. I have to press 'open', open the file from onedrive and close it, at which point it's listed in recent. Then I pin it to my list, but there's no guarantee that it'll be there the next time I open Word. I've tried stopping the app, clearing the cache, even uninstalling and reinstalling word. I have no idea why this is happening.
