MSmartHome is now upgraded to SmartHome, providing an intuitive and unified experience across the following appliance brands: Midea, Eureka, Comfee, Pelonis, Master Kitchen, Arctic King, and MDV.

SmartHome supports home appliances including air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, dehumidifiers, fans, ovens, washers & dryers, dishwashers, and more. Integrations with Alexa, Google Assistant, and IFTTT provide powerful voice control and automation capabilities. With SmartHome, you can control and monitor all your smart home devices in one place.

[Access Permissions]
The following access permission is required for the SmartHome (formerly MSmartHome) app to provide necessary services. If you do not allow them, you can still use the app except for the related services.

- Bluetooth: Find and connect to nearby devices via Bluetooth or BLE.
- Location: Detect home WLAN network information to add device. Check your location to automate actions when location changes. Search for local weather information in "Scene" function.
- Camera: Scan QR codes to add device. Upload photo to report a repair or feedback.
- Album: Scan saved QR codes. Edit your profile photo. Upload photo to report a repair or feedback.

Ratings and reviews

The instructions that came with unit instructed different app, which auto-upgraded to this app But then using this app wasn't in the instructions. HINT: There's a button to link Google Home in the settings. It works so good so far, its nice to be able to turn off my air conditioner from my smart glasses, anywhere in the world. Will update this as I observe reliability. -2 stars for confusion factor. Edit: dev response does not address issue I had, which was temporary. It's working fine now

I have the media Window AC unit. The unit is perfect and has been working well for over a year now. Recently they updated the app to smart home and it is terrible. The old app Was perfect and worked flawless. The new app disconnects from Alexa, usually once a week. And I have to manually click on the unit and reconnect it. The old app on the phone would instantly allow you to change settings on the A. C unit, the new app takes almost 20 seconds to load to make any changes to the A. C

Seamless migration. Was forced to "migrate" to the app from the midea app. I assumed migration meant my three device would automatically appear in SmartHome. Eventually, this did occur after I reset the password to my midea account in the SmartHome app. Unfortunate choice of app name as I now have five "Smartxxxx" apps on my device, hard to keep track which is which. Perhaps adding Midea logo to the icon might help.
