About this app

Most vocabulary apps ask you to repeat a word until it sticks. Mnemo asks you
to picture it once — and then it sticks by itself.
Every Spanish word in Mnemo is paired with an English word that sounds like it.
"Rana" (frog) sounds like "run" — so you imagine a frog running. That absurd
little picture is what your memory holds onto, and it holds on for years.
HOW IT WORKS
1. See the word, its transcription and its translation.
2. Get a hint: an English word that sounds similar.
3. Write your own image in one line. Yours works better than ours — that is
the whole point of the method.
4. Seven words make one puzzle piece. Collect pieces, build the picture.
SPACED REPETITION THAT RESPECTS THE METHOD
Words come back three times, 24 hours apart, and each day works differently:
• Day 1 — recognise the word in both directions, seven options each way
• Day 2 — a four-option test
• Day 3 — recall from memory, then check yourself
By the third day the image has done its job and you simply know the word.
WHAT IS INSIDE
• Six levels, from Elementary (A1–A2) to Proficiency (C2)
• Native pronunciation for every word
• Voice input — say your image instead of typing it
• A 30-piece jigsaw you fill with words you choose yourself
• Progress, points and levels in your profile
• Reminders at a time you pick
COMPLETELY FREE
Every level, every word and every puzzle piece is open from the start.
No subscription, no paid unlocks, no ads, no limit on how many images
you create.
Mnemo works offline. Your images stay on your device.
