An explanation of the permissions we seek when you install the m-Indicator app:

1. Location: We use fine and Coarse Location for the Cabs feature in which you can easily compare the prices from Well-known Cab Services such as Uber & Ola.

2. Call Log: We use this for identifying relative's Mobile Number in Women Safety feature.

3. Send SMS: We use this permission to automatically send Text Messages to the Relatives in Women Safety feature.

4. Receive SMS: We need this permission to read PNR SMS.

5. Storage: In Express Section, user can save and share the screenshot of Running Status, Seat Availability and Coach Position.

Ratings and reviews

I daily use M-indicator and to be honest it was working Good But from last couple of days like 4-5 days this app is not working properly whenever I try to search for a train status it is always showing no internet even though my service provider has full network and working on 5G. It's a lot irritating to see a app which we use daily is not working properly. So I request you to kindly fix the issue whatever it is and make the App Running effectively.

Since yesterday the app is not showing correct position of the local train time, there is an error seen like no internet 🤔😒. So I deleted it downloaded again but still the issue not resolved. So I downloaded "Yatri app" which is showing correct position and timing.. Please do needful asap, because thousands of people are using m indicator in Mumbai like me. This kind of error should be rectified on urgent basis. Otherwise you will loose your importance. 😌👍

The M-indicator app is very useful and informative. However, there’s one issue I’ve noticed. When you click on the people chat symbol, it shows something like "Passenger 1 – Train arriving at XYZ station." But often, this information turns out to be incorrect. I suspect this might be because users are manually selecting that they are in a particular train, and the app then captures their location based on that input. If that’s the case, it can mislead others who are trying to track the train.
