the app interface simply doesn't work. you can use the remote a couple times before it permanently switches to a different type, missing the right buttons. can only use the power button after that. to fix it, I have to delete the remote, and remake it so I can use it a couple more times before it fails again. and now I have to make a negative review because I can't even make remotes anymore. so the product is now useless.

I bought a moes thermostat, seemed like very good quality. thermostat ended up being defective, but the app was HORRIBLE! It's a giant advertisement without any advantage to having it on your phone. I can't imagine the malware that comes with it that doesn't uninstall. It was hard to navigate, you have to search forever for simple items that should be available on the home page. I would seem it absolutely worthless.

I have more than a dozen smart switches throughout the house. Multiple brands. Moe's are the worst. They seem very frail in construction compared to the others. The LED is usually off sync. And the lights are often unresponsive to Google. They were the only ones that required no neutral wire which is why I bought them. The company is more interested in selling than supporting. There site doesn't even have the instruction manual available.
