Sortify is shared memory for your space.
Every household, workshop, research lab, office, or small team has the same problem: things get moved, people forget, and the next person wastes time looking.
Sortify helps you remember what you own, where it is, and who changed it last.
Create personal or shared inventory workspaces for homes, labs, offices, workshops, studios, storage rooms, small businesses, and teams. Add rooms, sublocations, items, photos, notes, tags, barcodes, quantities, and item history so your space becomes searchable.
At its core, Sortify answers one question:
Where is it?
What you can do with Sortify:
• Create personal or shared workspaces
• Organize items by room and sublocation
• Add photos so items are easier to identify
• Search items, locations, tags, notes, and details
• Track item changes with history
• Invite family members, teammates, or workspace members
• Work offline and sync when available
• Use encrypted sync options for shared workspaces
• Keep workspace photo sync optional per workspace
• Manage access for Sortify Cloud and Enterprise workspaces
Sortify is useful for:
• Families tracking household items, documents, tools, boxes, and seasonal storage
• Roommates sharing common spaces and supplies
• Research labs tracking equipment, reagents, rooms, shelves, and shared resources
• Workshops and makerspaces tracking tools and materials
• Small businesses tracking stock, equipment, and operational items
• Teams that need shared memory without relying on spreadsheets or one person’s memory
Privacy and sync
Sortify is local-first. Your workspace data lives on your device first, and you can use Sortify offline.
When sync is enabled, Sortify encrypts workspace data before it leaves your device. Depending on your setup, Sortify can sync through supported providers such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Sortify Cloud, or Enterprise SyncNative.
For user-owned cloud sync, encrypted Sortify packages are stored in your selected cloud provider. For Sortify Cloud and Enterprise workspaces, Sortify uses managed zero-knowledge sync infrastructure for encrypted events, checkpoints, membership, and recovery references.
MokingBird does not need plaintext inventory content to sync your workspace.
Why Sortify exists
A spreadsheet can list things. Sortify remembers where they are.
Create a workspace, add your rooms, save your items, invite the people who need access, and make your space searchable.
