About this app

Choose the apps that distract you most and MotiMax locks them each day until you complete your focus session. Your session is personalized around your goals and interests, helping you put meaningful progress before scrolling.

Once your focus session is complete, your blocked apps are unlocked for the rest of the day. The next day, MotiMax resets and gives you another opportunity to show up for yourself.

Accessibility Service (Important)

MotiMax uses Android's AccessibilityService API to power its Focus Lock app-blocking feature.
Users choose which apps they want MotiMax to lock. MotiMax uses the AccessibilityService to detect when a user attempts to open one of their selected locked apps. When a locked app is detected, MotiMax prevents access to that app and shows the MotiMax Focus Lock screen instead, where the user can start a focus session. After the required focus session is completed, the user's selected apps are unlocked.

What we access: MotiMax accesses the name of the app currently opened on the device. This is used only to determine whether the opened app is one the user has chosen to lock.
What we don't access: MotiMax does not read what you type, read your messages, capture your screen, or collect the content inside other apps. MotiMax does not use AccessibilityService to change device settings or prevent you from disabling or uninstalling MotiMax.

You can disable MotiMax's AccessibilityService access at any time through your Android device settings.
App information accessed through AccessibilityService is processed on the device and is not sold or shared with third parties.

How MotiMax works:

1. Choose which distracting apps you want to lock
2. Select your goals, interests, and what you want to focus on
3. Complete your personalized daily focus session
4. Unlock your distraction apps for the rest of the day
5. Come back tomorrow and build the habit again

MotiMax is more than an app blocker:
Stay motivated throughout the day with inspiring quotes, affirmations, reminders, widgets, and content personalized to your mood and interests.

All of the above features require an active subscription.

Whether you're working toward a fitness goal, studying, building a business, improving your mindset, training for a sport, or simply trying to spend less time scrolling, MotiMax helps you stay focused on the person you want to become.

Build a healthier relationship with your phone.

Instead of letting distractions decide how your day begins, MotiMax creates a daily barrier between you and the apps that steal your attention - giving your goals a chance to come first.

Build discipline. Stay motivated. Become more consistent.
