Moto display is one of the reasons I've been a loyal moto user for my last 4 phones. However recent updates that changed the style I'm not fond of. The original design prevented accidental touches because you had to tap and drag. It was very hard for you to do something accidentally. Now the full screen media controls I frequently have unintended touches and commands. Moto please fix this, let me either turn off the media controls, or let me revert to the old behavior.

Updated the app just to be sure that I don't have any vulnerable outdated apps on my phone. After the update, it enabled "peek display" which annoyingly turns the screen on every single time the phone even slightly moves. I have to have that turned off because sometimes it turns the screen on in my pocket and starts rubbing against my leg, entering random unlock patterns. It's unsettling to take your phone out of your pocket and see that it says "Wrong pattern" at the top of the unlock screen.

Hi Kyle, We have measures to prevent that through the proximity sensor. We suggest you run the hardware diagnosis from the Device Help app to make sure that it's running as expected. Other than that, it might just be the power key unintentionally being pressed while in your pocket. -Moto Display Team

The latest update to allow for disabling the animated peek display is appreciated but finding the option was unpleasant. Current version still seems to require way too big of a swipe up to unlock. The initial release needed just like 1/4 to 1/3 of the screen to register. 1/3 to half is what current version needs. Unsure if I'm going to roll back or now. At least this update is a big step forward over the last year+ of garbage
