Compose music simply using a piano keyboard to enter the notes. Use this app to compose and edit sheet music. Open music XML files from popular sites like musescore and edit them.

Play back your songs using a custom midi playback engine.

Enter notes, chords, rests, repeats, Dynamics, triplets, time signatures, key signatures,octava Markings and change cleffs all from the button bar above the keyboard. Enter lyrics using the lyric tool by clicking on a cleff.

Export your songs to midi, wave audio files, docx(Microsoft word), epub(ebook), and musicxml files to share with fellow composers.

I like how the app is set up, it is very intuitive to write music. You just tap the keys on the little piano, super simple, and it plays the notes back to you so you can hear if it sounds right. Some of the finer points are a bit more difficult to figure out, but still quite manageable. I really liked this app, but my when I finished writing my music (including lyrics) and tried to export it, the app froze and wouldn't reopen. Please fix this.

I like how it's not very hard to put your music in. I personally use it to hear how my part in the music sounds but I don't like how its confusing to add in certain stuff. I still can't figure out how to make the music cut time or add in slurs, and I added in the beginning and end repeat signs and it won't play it. Still pretty good because you can change the instrument sound and the ease of putting different length notes in. Love the keyboard!

Okay, I like the concept of the app. I haven't used it in a while, but the instruments have always sounded beautiful. Last I knew, it was quite glitchy and sometimes deleted my work. I opened it today to work on a song and it showed me an ad literally every time I wanted to listen to my work (every few seconds). Not only that but it was the EXACT SAME add. EXACT SAME! That is my main problem and why I lowered my rating. I can NOT handle such a repetitive ad. It's annoying and gave me a headache.
