About this app

We built Soso as parents. Soso is designed to be your (or your daughter's) first period tracker.

A place to learn, observe, and build awareness over time, without pressure, noise, or adult-focused content. It’s made to feel safe, clear, and supportive, both for kids using it and for parents guiding them.

When our daughter started asking questions about her body changes, what we found were apps made for adults, with content, language, and features that didn’t feel right for a first experience.

So we decided to build something different.

What Soso helps with:
- Soso focuses on understanding and learning first, then tracking comes naturally.
- Learn about cycle changes with clear, age-appropriate explanations
- Build the habit of noticing and logging periods
- Reduce anxiety by providing information at your pace
- Create space for conversations between parents and kids

Visual cycle tracking
- Log periods with simple taps
- Visual cues and colors to reflect flow intensity
- Clear calendar view to see cycles over time
- Easy access to past logs and history

Daily guidance, gently
- Smart daily check-ins during a period
- Helpful prompts that guide without forcing answers
- No pressure to log everything perfectly
- The app adapts over time as more data is added

Mood & symptoms
- Optional mood and symptom logging
- Simple icons and language
- Encourages self-reflection without judgment
- Helps connect how the body feels over time

Built for families

- Designed by parents, for parents
- No social feeds or chats
- No adult content
- Private by design

Soso is not about comparison, performance, or social interaction. It’s about understanding your own body, at your own rhythm.

A calm place to start
Whether you’re just beginning to learn about cycles or building confidence over time, Soso is here to support that journey with care. We’re building Soso thoughtfully, one step at a time, and we’re glad you’re here with us.

The age restriction thing drove me a bit mad too. Girls get their period way before the age most of those apps decide you're allowed in, which is a strange rule to make. Glad I was the one that let you through. 💛

Okay you said you love me so much and I have decided to take that completely literally. That is a big commitment and I fully intend to hold you to it, Aaliyah.

What’s new

Not everyone can get a subscription. I know. So now you don't need one: meet Drops. One Drop logs one period, and the whole app is yours. No subscription, nothing monthly.

They're starting at a much lower price than they'll normally be, so if a subscription was the thing standing in your way, this is your moment. Also, they're not "Drops" in every language. Each one got its own word, picked to sound natural there.
