MyWalkThru is an app that produces a comprehensive report of the condition of a home. The primary use of the app is for rental property reporting on the inventory and condition of a home at move in. Taking photos and making comments is important to all parties concerned. The receipt of this documentation can be useful for the protection of the security deposit. If an issue exists on the property and is reported before move in, the tenant may not be held responsible for the issue when the security deposit is at risk. Documentation of the property is important and can salvage the deposit

Used the Android app for a detailed move-in walkthrough and had a good experience. Photos uploaded without issues, progress saved automatically, completed sections were clearly marked, editing was easy, and submission was confirmed in-app and by email. Best tip: use voice-to-text! Every photo requires a comment, and dictating saves a ton of time. I only wish you could move documentation between rooms instead of deleting and redoing it.

This app has issues uploading pictures and giving you free range to describe prior damage to the property. It asks specific questions and most of it doesn't apply to the property I'm currently renting.
