Really great for the price. The update to the third edition is now straightforward, and 99pence! The videos are massively useful and I now seem to have access to what was previously two tiers. Gull-like body shape issues have been fixed. Either lists have improved, or I now understand how to use them better. I'd still like to be able to match saved locations with sighting, or filter by location. I understand that this is probably tricky to implement though. Upgraded from 4 to 5 stars. Thanks!

I had this app on my old i-pad and reinstalled it when I moved to an android device. In my opinion it's still one of the best field guides available. They have really improved the location maps but it's not possible to store a location so it has to be retyped for every entry. Also there does not seem to be anyway of sorting a list now. Frustrating when you have a long life list and want to check an entry.

A good app for quick reference, if you know the categories. The information is good, but the distribution information is weaker than I expected it to be. I have one major problem with the app: The scientific names, located beneath the common name, are almost completely covered by the image plates, which means that they are unreadable.
