About this game

Available exclusively for Netflix members.

Load 'em up, Gunslinger. Find the loot, kill the boss. You're a Wild West cyborg fighting an army of robots in this futuristic, action-packed shooter.

In a futuristic Wild West, robots that were once designed to help with life have taken over the planet, threatening humans. You play as the Gunslinger, the baddest in the Old West, cloned back to life by a mad human scientist to fight off the robot oppression. Dust & Neon is a classic top-down, twin-stick shooter with RPG progression and influences from the roguelite and looter shooter genres.

Features:

• Shoot, kill, reload, repeat. Enjoy twin-stick action in this shoot 'em up where players spawn at home base, gear-up, upgrade and then pick a mission to fight.
• Death is only the beginning. Power-up your character across countless runs (and deaths).
• Choose from a variety of different mission types, including: Kill All, Train Heist and Sabotage Objective. Always be on the lookout for cash and better weapons — the search for better loot drives mission progress.
• Experience unique boss fights. As you progress through the game, rank up and upgrade, move closer toward going head-to-head with the next boss in line!

Really cool rougelite and runs great. However, every single controller prompt is incorrect. Using the backbone PlayStation edition, for example, L2 shows up as the button to interact with the environment but X is the correct button to press. You basically have to trial and error to figure what button is correct for everything, even in the main menu. I'd definitely give 5 stars if that could be fixed.

This game needs ALOT of work. first of without a controler its near impossible to aim, but then even using a controller you run into issues with the aiming again, they encourage you to use cover but unless the enemy is right out in the open, you can't hit them and even then sometimes for whatever reason it just doesn't register, a guy was standing in front of me in the open not getting hit. My advice is a full rework of the aiming system. Then you'll have an amazing mobile game.

It's a really well done game and retails for $30 on PC and Switch. Stick a controller on there and you have a fun roguelite. I cannot imagine touchscreen with this -- it's a twin stick shooter. I've only had one crash in maybe 5h and that's with the screen off. Sensitivity could be better and mechanics could be different (i.e. point to shoot without L2 with guidelines), but I've gotten used to it and it's definitely not what's killing me in this game.
