Ratings and reviews

The game itself is good but the app just doesn't reliable. It crashes and restarts if you open another app. And recently if you open it it is like a frozen screen. The pokemon walk around but you can't press anything to interact with any option. The only way to make it work is to uninstall the app and reinstall. Makes me not want to play anymore sadly.

Ups and downs. The game is good and nice to use. Routes is a disaster as there doesn't seem to be any around (I travel a lot!). Raids are pointless as I can't seem to join a raid with other players so I'm left with 1 or 2 stars to win one. Game wants to update every week to which is getting tedious. Downgraded to 2 star as struggling to play cos graphics are getting too much. If I wanted grass and flowers I'd put it in AR mode. The more Niantic try to improve the game the more it's harder play.

Step tracking is awful in this. Google Fit (which adventure sync is supposed to get the data from) shows I've done 10-12km, yet this picks up 4 to 5km. Every. Day. Regardless of clearing cache, toggling settings, battery optimisation, linking/unlinking applications. I've tried them all... And only gets more annoying to get collection challenges that are impossible to get in rural areas. This used to be fun years ago now it's just a chore that isn't fun and doesn't work.
