About this app

Add resizable home screen widgets that do not obscure your wallpaper but can launch apps. This can be useful when your wallpaper itself implies clickable regions or you already know where to click but do not want to cover your wallpaper with app icons.

Very useful for a host of things. I used it to create some space between Date/Time and Favourite apps in my Niagara Launcher set-up. The fact that it can be further customised to open some app, etc is the icing on the cake.

Doesn't work well with my moto. Great app, just not what I'm looking for. I don't think Moto has the ability to 'layer' widgets. If you want to make an invisible app shortcut this would be perfect.

Widgets covering other widgets is launcher-dependent. Do other widgets cover widgets on your home screen? If so, I'll see how to make Transparent Widget work better with the Motorola launcher.

It does what it says. let's you create a clear widget and select a different app to open on tap.

What’s new

Thank you for all the encouraging Transparent Widget reviews.

This update fixes a very rare issue where widgets would not respond to clicks.
