not sure why the legacy Android Tablo app has taken a beating. It's easy for this 74 yr old to maneuver through the app plus the picture quality is awesome! Im not sure I'll move up to the new Tablo. My legacy is terrific In still learning and as soon as I can figure out where " recent recordings vs "All" I'll be thrilled! Love this app

Great app for people who like troubleshooting! It may be unfair to blame the app, but the setup of the Tablo DVR, which is done via the app, is anything but smooth. In order to set the system up for the first time, it took research on the web, removing the DVR's hard drive, plus uninstalling and reinstalling the app. All I can suggest is have patience; it ultimately did work.

Very user unfriendly. I spent a couple of hours getting the unit to talk to my tv. I didnt watch it for a few weeks and suddenly its no longer connected. Now I'm spending hours trying to get them connected again. Grrrr Update: A few months later I can say I've never used a more glitchy POS. I have spent MANY hours trying to get it to work properly. Now it's lost the connection all together. After 45 mins w/technical and mid diagnosis, it was closing time and the call was disconnected. Terrible.
