I connected my Tablo to Wi-Fi with this app successfully only once, but beyond the initial setup, it’s useless on my phone. The app consistently fails to connect or find the Tablo device, making it impossible to stream anything. However, it works flawlessly on my Google TV with the same app. The discrepancy in performance between the mobile and TV versions is frustrating. This app needs major improvements for mobile functionality. Until then, I can't recommend it for mobile use.

We installed our tablo about 2 weeks ago. It wasn't a difficult process. However, the channels don't come in clear like they did when the antenna was hooked straight to the TV. Next problem, we scheduled shows to record on the channels that do come in, but it only recorded 1 out of 10. Then it randomly stopped working, and all attempts to reset and reinstall were an epic fail. We ended up going back to antenna/TV hookup. Now it's waiting to go to the dump. Save your money.

The tablo is not ready for prime time. It works about 80% of the time but many times when I go to start it I am just stuck on the buffering circle. No idea why. I have good internet. Also get several errors which are useless and I can usually bypass but why are they there?. Does not live up to its promises. Does not always extend recordings for live performances. I believe these glitches are why it is taking so long for Apple TV to approve their app.
