Unreliable app. Loses connection to the Tablo every single time I pick it into record. Right now I've been nearly a half hour setting and resetting and it just won't do it. It's always like this...at some time it may finally connect, but I always miss the show I want to record. I need to find a different solution. This used to work okay but.... ugh. Things should get better, not worse, as updates come out.

When it works like it's supposed to, it's great. But, it is SO unreliable. I wish I could get back the amount of time I've spent, trying to get it fixed. Installing and un-installing the app and it still not locating my Tablo. And the worst part is the channel that I watch 75% of the time, is not correct on my guide, so I can't record things because the name of the show is incorrect. Also, I bought one, with an antenna for a family member's Christmas gift. Never worked.

The Android app worked fairly well for the initial setup of the Tablo device, establishing a network connection, and scanning for channels. However, since the initial setup, the app has refused to connect to the Tablo device. Fortunately the device and the Roku app work very well and I have the ability to watch over 170 channels for free on my TV. Rescanning of channels and all other setup parameters are available in the Roku app so I have no need for the Android app since the initial setup.
