It's a better vacuum than any Roomba but the app is useless now. It has no support anymore and won't connect to a secure router. Works great as an RC car though.

When you can install the app , it works fine. But the app does not work anymore on the latest android version. I tried to connect with Midea Robozone support but only get avoiding answers. What is the problem rebuilding this app for newer android versions? The cleaner devices are only a couple of years old. Or is Midea trying to force youi in buying a newer vacuum cleaner....

Fundamentally broken app. My phone prefers 5GHz WiFi. My router doesn't have controls to disable 5GHz or turn off SSID broadcast for 5GHz. The robot only does 2.4GHz. The app should allow me to configure the 2.4GHz robot link while my phone is connected to 5GHz but it does not allow that.
