The Leander, Texas Police Department mobile application is an interactive app which will help improve our communication with the citizens of Leander and surrounding area. The purpose of this app is to improve our ability to communicate with our citizens information which will include, but not be limited to push notifications, local news, contact information, and more. Citizens may submit a crime tip directly through the app, as well as see and share social media posts. By empowering people through technology, the Leander Police Department will be able to better protect our county.

I love this app. I get great push notifications, the traffic news is great and it helps me feel secure. I found it especially helpful during this ice storm week because of the reminders and road conditions notifications. They were even kind enough to tell us that the local stores couldn't open so that we didn't try to make a dangerous trip for nothing.
