About this app

OktoRocket Inspect puts the digital vehicle inspection in the technician's hands. Built for auto repair shops running OktoRocket, it turns the bay-side DVI into a few taps. Score a line item, snap a photo, add a note, and your service advisor sees the results the moment you submit.

Sign in with your shop's domain and your existing OktoRocket credentials, and your assigned repair orders are already waiting.

BUILT FOR THE BAY
• Garage list of every repair order at your location, with live status
• The full inspection sheet, driven by your shop's own templates, with good, recommended, required, and informational scoring
• Tire tread depth and PSI, corner by corner
• Measurements, predefined findings and recommendations, and free-text tech notes
• Vehicle details at hand: year, make, model, engine, transmission, plate, VIN, mileage in and out

PHOTO AND VIDEO EVIDENCE
• Capture photos and video directly against any inspection line item
• Mark up a photo before it uploads. Pen, arrow, box, and text callouts are flattened into the image, so the customer sees exactly what you saw
• Photos are compressed on device, so uploads stay quick on shop Wi-Fi

SCAN INSTEAD OF TYPE
• Scan a VIN barcode with the camera
• Photograph the license plate to pull the vehicle's details

WORKS WHEN THE SHOP WI-FI DOESN'T
Concrete and steel are hard on a signal, so Inspect is offline-tolerant by design:
• Your garage list, repair orders, and inspection templates are cached on the device
• Every edit lands on screen instantly and queues in a durable outbox
• When the connection returns, queued work syncs in order. Nothing is lost, and a refresh never overwrites unsynced edits
• Sync status and any stuck items are always visible in Settings

VEHICLE HISTORY
• Past visits for the vehicle, including prior inspection results
• Carfax service history, where your shop has that integration enabled

WHEN YOU'RE DONE
Submit the inspection and the repair order advances to estimating. Your advisor gets the whole picture: scores, notes, measurements, photos, and video. It's all there to build the estimate and send the customer their DVI link.

REQUIREMENTS
OktoRocket Inspect requires an active OktoRocket subscription and credentials issued by your shop. It is not a standalone app. If you don't have a login, talk to your shop manager or write to [e-mail].
