Unclear UI, you might accidentally more than you intend. There are options to pick set amounts to gift. However, there is also a custom option that is added on top of the set amount. You cannot create your own custom amount. This is very unclear, and getting to the payment screen, I was alarmed why my total was suddenly so high. They also did a bait and switch with the promise of giving you $15 when you download the app, but they actually require you to spend $25 first.

I'm sure the app is okay. I only downloaded and used it to try to redeem a "coupon code" from Google for the Local Guides program. Unfortunately, there is some sort of a limit to the number of people who can redeem their codes or something like that, so I was unable to redeem and offered "$15 off a purchase of $25 or more.". Bait and switch as far as I am concerned... Not a great experience. Uninstalled and moving on 😅

I got a $25 gift from Google to use on this app. When I went to check out, Goody had invalidated the code and offered me a $15 coupon instead because too many people redeemed it. The code was just for the month of July, and the gift said nothing about conditions. When you do an affiliation deal, don't renege on the offer. Now instead of having no opinion on your service, I have a negative one. Congrats. Also, they advertise the businesses as "local" but apparently local means NYC.
