I am updating my review to 1 star. The app continues to not work on my Samsung tablet with the error "Required output protections are not active". I did contact Technical support and went through all the details with them. They have called me back 3 times and on the request of the "back room" have had me try different things. None of them have worked. Cache has been clear, app uninstalled, installed, new version Dec 15. No fix yet. Tech department says it has to be in the coding of the app. HELP

Telus TV does not allow you to watch recorded shows on any devices, even when in you are in your own home. And also note: The Shaw TV app allows you to not only watch recordings on the app at home but also anywhere else away from home. Shaw TV also allows you to do everything else away from home, set or manage recordings, watch recordings or live TV and also watch any on-demand programming. As of Jan 18th 2020. Optik TV has basically stopped working on my phone and tablet.

Terrible. I've yet to be able to log in. Says I need to activate. I follow the steps with username and password. Won't recognize it. I haven't had issues with any other subscription but this one. Help never gets back to me on setup. Im thinking next time im cutting things out, this deal is one that I will be eliminating no point to the promo if you can use it all. The Telus Tv+ app is fail in loading/logging in.

Hi Nikita, if your login credentials are working at telus.com/mytelus but NOT on the TELUS TV+ app or at telustvplus.com, then your TV account hasn't been created properly and you'll need to connect with a customer service rep at 1-888-811-2323.
