I got my very first hearing aids last week. At the Doctors office, we loaded up this app. She cautioned that its not always accurate. Thank goodness my aides don't depend on this app to work. Some days both aides will show and some days only one will, even though I can still hear from both ears just fine. Some days it shows the percentage of battery left and sometimes its completely wrong. (New batteries should show as 100 % when first put in, right?) The location option works perfect though!

You can also reach out to the Global App Support team in case that does not help (appsupport@oticon.com). Kind Regards, Oticon

I lose bluetooth connection randomly. I never know if the phone is connected to the hearing aids for a call First thing I do for a call is do you here me so I know if I have to put the phone to my ear or not. The only way I found to reconnect the bluetooth to the hearing aids is to reboot the phone. It has gotten to be one to two times per day. My phone is Samsung Flip 4. Also, the hearing aid fitness doesn't work on my phone. It did for the first two weeks. Got the hearing aids on March 29.

Have version 1.3.0. Cannot connect to anything other than my Android phone through the app. Seriously need to be able to connect to my computer during meetings. Headphones and ear buds interfere with the hearing devices, so this is not an option. There is a remote sensor available but it does not cut out the source speakers. Picture a cube farm with multiple meetings going on. Other people are using headphones & microphones. I do not have that option. Now what?

Dear Rusty, the hearing aids use the BLE - Bluetooth Low Energy standard (common in the miniaturized medical devices industry). Most computers use the traditional Bluetooth (more battery hungry and common in commercial devices). At the moment an accessory is needed. It is called ConnectClip. Please, inquire with your audiologist about it.
