2026 FEDERAL TAX PLANNING
• 2026 federal brackets and standard deductions for single, married filing jointly and head of household
• Self-employment tax, Social Security wage-base limits and Additional Medicare estimates
• W-2 income and withholding alongside 1099 income
• General 90% current-year and 100%/110% prior-year payment comparisons
• Quarterly dates through January 15, 2027, remaining balances and catch-up amounts
• A plain-English worksheet showing how the estimate is calculated
ORGANIZE YOUR RECORDS
Log income and track amounts you have moved to your own tax savings. Add receipt details manually, attach an optional image and review the suggested Schedule C category. OCR and scheduled reminders are not provided. Keep a manual trip log with dates, miles and business purposes.
DATED MILEAGE RATES
For 2026 business trips, the app uses 72.5 cents per mile through June 30 and 76 cents from July 1. When mileage is logged, car-category receipts are excluded from the expense estimate to avoid combining mileage with the same vehicle's actual costs. Confirm vehicle eligibility and exceptions separately.
EXPORT AND DELETE
Save a CSV preparer summary or a JSON copy of your records. Use More → Delete all my data to clear local app records. Exported copies are separate. Calculations work offline; Play services and IRS links need connectivity.
KNOW THE LIMITS
This is a 2026 planning calculator, not a return preparer. State amounts are rough adjustable rates, not full state calculations. Credits, capital gains, itemized deductions, AMT, married filing separately and special taxpayer rules are not modeled. Verify retirement and health-insurance deduction eligibility independently. Prior-year safe harbor requires a 12-month return; the zero-tax exception also requires full-year US citizenship or residency. Payment timing matters. No final underpayment penalty is calculated.
