Ok substitute for Verizon+, missing some of the better features. I really need 1) a search function to search through a message chain for a specific word. And 2) to be able to quickly see or copy verification codes from the push notification. Would also like to select multiple message chains to delete at once instead of one at a time. I've noticed a couple times that my texts aren't being sent and a big red "!" shows up. Would like to see sent vs. delivered in message details as well.

This is a great app for customizations. Themes, fonts, sizes, colors, etc. I really like the quick reply so I don't have to go into the app every time. What I don't like is not being able to copy just a code or a single word. Copy the entire text? That's a pain. It would be nice if I could swipe a message instead of going into settings to delete. All in all, it performs great and looks 😎 Delicious, no thanks on Textra. it's not a good app.

I moved to the Chomp app because the Samsung messages app frequently failed to receive (download) incoming SMS or MMS, and sometimesfailed to send (upload) as well. The Chomp app does not exhibit that problem and works reliability. Configurability is great. I have had no technical issues, but I did receive the threat that I would start to receive adds on my free version, so should those become intrusive I will return to de-rate this app.
