Reddit pointed me to this app and what a great discovery that has been! Very generous free plan and surprisingly realistic voices. I'm impressed! the Orator voice is currently my favorite for reading epub files. As someone who likes to write books, it's nice to be able to hear my work played back for editing. The one feature I'd love to have would be a way to turn on the ability to have footnotes played. one of my books uses footnotes heavily and those are the best parts in my opinion.

I really love the app. The only minor thing that I can think of is that the voices don't always have the correct emphasis or make a pause too short, ect. but the voices are very enjoyable overall and sound very good. 56hrs a week of free converting is actually an insane amount and I don't think I'll actually ever use that up. One suggestion for an update I have that would be epic, is to be able to set different voices to different people. Keep up the good work, and thanks for a great app!

Thanks for the feedback! We're working on improvements to our voices including improvements to emphasis and pause durations. We have started planning a feature to assign different speakers to different characters, for example, in a fiction book, which I hope you'll like. Joe, Paper2Audio Founder

I'm really enjoying the Paper2Audio app! The voice quality is great and the 20K word limit for web articles is a good start. However, I’d love to see that limit increased a bit in the free version to accommodate longer long-form articles. Also, adding OCR (picture-to-text) for physical book pages would be a total game-changer for offline reading. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your feedback and requests. I'm glad you're enjoying Paper2Audio. We're working on increasing our size limit for web articles. We support physical book pages if you submit them in PDF format, and we are working on additional formats. Please share further feedback anytime. Joe, Paper2Audio Founder
