This is an excellent free app. Seems like these days if anything is free you end up buried in ads just trying to perform a basic function. I had this thing read a 3-hour book and was never bothered by an ad. * This is what every free app should look like. *Edited my review - I said there was a banner ad on the homepage but that's not even an ad. Either way, this is great and just does the thing I need it to do.

Edit: Thank you for adding the visible pictures feature I wanted. You certainly earned the fifth star. I was wondering if you could make it a bit more compatible? I've been generating custom epubs to put in the app and I can't seem to get what makes them display or not. The pictures show up fine in normal readers like Lithium.

Reddit pointed me to this app and what a great discovery that has been! Very generous free plan and surprisingly realistic voices. I'm impressed! the Orator voice is currently my favorite for reading epub files. As someone who likes to write books, it's nice to be able to hear my work played back for editing. The one feature I'd love to have would be a way to turn on the ability to have footnotes played. one of my books uses footnotes heavily and those are the best parts in my opinion.
