App works fine but the information is all incorrect! App will say there are 6 bikes to rent but you go and they are out of order or in a pause mode. Basically unavailable. Most bikes you can rent have issues with them, out of alignment tires/pedal, pedals missing, pedal assist is broken or the seat only raises up half way. Highly recommend another app!!! They may be more expensive but there is a reason. If you go with Velib, you will definitely spend your vacation looking for a working bike.

It's generally a good service and unlike what other comments say, most bikes are in good shape. HOWEVER 1) electric bikes are not very useful as the pedal assist is not very strong, so I always use the mechanical ones which are fine. 2) As a foreigner, I can't add my card to the app. So every time I want a bike I need to use my credit card, which means every time there's a "pending" 300€ added to my card, which is a lot, because these don't go away quickly (I still have some from a week ago).

Terrible experience overall. Firstly, it's like they don't want you to use their service because their system refuses your payment multiple times before it finally works. And once you pay, get your code and try to put it in the bike, it refuses it. Error messages every time, even if you try on multiple bikes. Please never depend on it if you're in any urgent situation. It's very frustrating, I'll never use it again.
