About this app

National Information Technology Board is the Technology Partner for the Pass Track App. The application has been developed under the banner of Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication, Islamabad, Pakistan.

Initially Pass Track application aimed to track the travelers coming to Islamic Republic of Pakistan against vaccination and symptoms related to covid 19. After the fruitful outcome of this application and decrease in Covid 19 cases to minimal, The feature of tracking against vaccination and symptoms related to covid 19 has been removed from the application.

This application is now only for Currency Declaration for any user intend travelling to/ from Pakistan. It is mandatory for out-bound passengers for all countries except Afghanistan, carrying Foreign Currency exceeding US$ 5,000 or equivalent, or any prohibited or restricted item to file a declaration as notified vide S.R.O.1864(I)/2022 dated 10.10.2022. The persons travelling to Afghanistan shall file a declaration of currency in their possession. Likewise, in-bound passengers carrying Foreign Currency exceeding US$10,000 or equivalent, or any prohibited or restricted item, shall also file currency declaration. A Currency Declaration Form (CDF) is accordingly available on WeBOC website (www.weboc.gov.pk).

Now Currency Declaration system of Pakistan Customs has also been integrated with Pass Track application for ease of declaration and convenient global access for travelers. Travelers can access the Currency Declaration through Pass Track application. It will facilitate travelers as declaration form has been made available both in Urdu and English.

Terrible app. Every time I tried to enter my information the app timed out. Tried every possible thing to troubleshoot the problem but nothing worked. I finally had multiple ticket agents at the airport try it themselves. Two had the same issue I did, and the other had it working within minutes. He was familiar with the app and said it either works or it doesn't, really no rhyme or reason. Fix this. Please. Or stop requiring that travelers use this app when it's so unreliable.

I successfully filled the form at night. My husband's travel information saved, mine did not. At first it showed the travel info, when I got to the airport, the info was gone! I tried literally a hundred times, I've memorized my passport number at this point, it continuously said server error. The airport check in crew tried, still the same message. They let me go through my husband's app info. Then I read someone's comment about doing straight from the website. Done in a minute!

Worst App. I think this app has been launched without tests. Or no data is collected from foreign country residents. I have outline my reasons based the most frustrated parts Starting from No 1 1- No options to save your data, let say you haven't finished with the app. It will reset your previous work. You have to start over again. Literally I had to do it 20 + times. 2- It interchanges passport pic with Medical reports. 3- Even though default settings is non symptomatic. Reports is negative.
