I like paypal because it's quick and convenient. Setting up my business account was hassle free, within minutes, I am able to send professional invoices to my customers. My main gripes are: Sometimes when I try to create an invoice it gets stuck on the "add" page. I have to completely restart my phone, sometimes more than once! Also, sometimes it takes a while for paypal to actually send the invoices. Another thing I don't like is I recently had a customer request a refund. Even AFTER the issue was resolved, paypal put a hold on my account. 😡 What is the point of holding my account AFTER an issue has been resolved? Anyone can claim they didn't receive something, and anyone can request a refund. If the customer recants their claim, then there shouldn't be a hold placed on the seller's account. Claiming the reason for the hold is to "prevent" POSSIBLE future incidents is absolutely absurd! You can't prevent someone from requesting a refund in the future. That's ridiculous!

I loved this app and would've given it 5 stars until May 2023. They put out an update that broke the app on Samsung Galaxy phones and 6 months later it still doesn't work. Notifications when clients pay invoices no longer happen. Logging in is a pain. Fingerprint login used to work. Now it defaults to a pin number that doesn't work either and I have to manually switch it to my password and type that in every. single. time. Very frustrating when you want a quick balance.

You can't do invoices or request money with a new PayPal business account. They don't tell you that up front. The error message you get when you try is so generic it could mean anything. I spent hours over the last few days trying to work this out, trying it on the app, different computers, different browsers, working with their tech support and finally after 3 days they told me this. What an absolutely terrible product.
