Enter your transactions and utilize our powerful insights to understand where your money is going, and how you can grow your savings. Signing up is as easy as getting a text message. Use your phone number to access your budget across multiple devices.

Adding a transaction takes only seconds to complete. You can add your expense before you've even left the drive through. Transactions are entered manually to allow for the greatest transparency. Enhance your budget even more by linking your transactions to categories and accounts.

Growing your savings starts with understanding how much money you make, how much you spend, and how much you have leftover. Our insights help you get clarity on this, allowing you to refine your budget over time and maximize your savings potential. This includes how your money is spent across categories (or envelopes), how it compares to your income and your expected spending power, your annual savings by month, and more!

Look at how your spending has changed month to month, so you can see how future spending will look. You can view your spending history over the past year to see where you can save and where you're spending too much.

Simple Budget does not link to your bank accounts, meaning your data is added manually. This helps keep the app, and your financials, safe and secure. However, the real reason we don't link to your bank accounts is to increase financial transparency. If the app does everything automatically for you, there's less reason to check on things yourself. Keeping it manual means you're going to be fully aware of every transaction you make.
You can also export your transactions, for free, anytime you want. Whether you like to keep backups of your financial records, or want to play around with your own insights, exporting your transactions is made available to you.

Budget calculator is a tool used to see how your budget will look like by the end of the month. If your utility bills aren't until the end of the month, but you know it will be an expense you have, you can use the calculator to see how things will look after those bills. This helps you determine if you really should splurge on the new phone that just came out. Even though you may have $500 available in your budget, using the Budget Calculator you can see that $120 will be going towards unavoidable bills.
