Update: uninstalling and reinstalling does not help whatsoever. If you miss a payment, or if you decide that you're not going to pay for this month and then pay the next month, it will keep kicking you out of your own profile just to remind you that there is a issue with your subscription. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Even though I paid the sub, each time I open the app it gives me an error saying there is a problem and I have to resubscribe. it also asks me for a review each time and here you go.

I've used this app for years with few issues until they went to a paid model. I understand it's necessary but if I'm paying for something then my expectations rise. Now I have to re-verify my subscription almost weekly (and it will keep popping up for a day or two after I've done so) and I'm getting "bad gateway" errors even though reddit servers are up and my connection is fine.

I've changed my rating to 3 stars for this app. The negatives seem to outweigh the positives as of late but it earns about that much. My issue not being able to save items was not permission related but reinstalling it did fix it. Before that, some would save while others wouldn't. Mostly, it was nice your support team member tried to reach out to address my issues, but this app doesn't natively let you view some gifs or videos still and opens up chrome instead. While you guys do still have the best layout, the fact my paid ad-free no longer works is a major negative and now I see very spammy ads that are likely spyware infested. It was one thing to see Amazon deals pop up as ads (though I doubt any were legit) but now you guys have Ashley Madison style ads and this is after I installed the app on a brand new phone. Please look into these issues. Saving shouldn't be this complex, media should work in app, and get rid of these sleazy ads if you gotta run them. Ya'll are better than that.

Hi Moe, they'll be an update next week which fixes Reddit Video. If you have paid to remove ads, you should never see them. What has likely happened is the app updated when the wrong Google account was signed in. Try reinstalling using the correct account. We use Amazon to display ads so deals you see are legit. They choose the ads you see hth.
