First released in 2011, Relay has been consistently developed over the past decade by the same third party developer.

Relay has been a subscription-based app since since September 2023 when Reddit introduced a monthly fee for 3rd party developers to access its API.

There are multiple price plans to choose from depending on your usage. More than 75% of Relay's users pay (USD) 1$ or 2$ dollars per month for a beautiful, ad-free experience with no trackers and a pure Frontpage made up of only the subreddits you subscribe to.

This all used to be great, however recently comments aren't loading, GIFs don't play etc. I've now been logged out, and it's not possible to login. You cannot enter details since the keyboard glitches out, and using the social logins simply doesn't handle a callback. I assume it's to do with Reddit and their APIs, but that's why we pay a subscription to use the app, so it can fund Reddits API fee they charge

Great app but most recent update isn't recognizing my current subscription and restore purchase doesn't work as well as clearing the cache. I don't want to buy it twice. And because I don't have it logged in all the stuff I have saved is local and not on an account. There should be a way to export settings and saved subreddits so that if there is ever an issue you can restore from backup like "infinity for reddit" has.

Unable to set user flair on any sub using this app. No flair means automatic blocking on multiple subs. I've tried and failed for literally YEARS that I've been a paid subscriber. I'm now blocked from about a dozen subs that are highly relevant to me. I can't take it anymore, I had to say something. I click every link, I read every wiki, I examine every sidebar, I open every menu. For something I pay for! So be warned, you'll also be blocked while using this app. I'm on Android.
