About this app

Pathfinder 2e Battle tracker is an Android application for Gamemasters of the Pathfinder second edition role playing game. It helps you keep track of the turn order, hit points, conditions and more during your encounters and gives you tools to make your encounters smoother and focus on the important part of the game instead of book-keeping, number tracking or doing math.

Main features includes:
* Display initiative order and keep track of the current turn and total number of rounds
* Load NPCs from a bestiary including all published Paizo's books
* Track HPs
* Add/substract damages or heals to HP, with buttons to double or halve the value automatically
* Track reaction use
* Define custom additional reactions
* Track conditions, update their remaining duration and current value
* Update the AC and saves score depending on the penalties applied by conditions
* Track persistent damage, automatic but optional roll for damages and recovery check
* Open quickly full NPCs statblock on Archives of Nethys
* Apply weak/elite templates
* Roll initiative from Perception, stealth, or define it manually
* Save and manage party of PCs
* Load PCs from Pathbuilder 2e
* Define different colors for the characters, usefull with duplicated NPCs to keep track of the minis or tokens used
* Save and load any number of encounters
* Encounter builder screen to helps you define the difficulty of the encounter and adjust it by deleting/adding easily NPCs or applying Weak/Elite template
* Export current state of the encounter as text (Markdown) for play-by-post on forums or Discord

The main view displays a list of all NPCs and PCs involved in the encounter, sorted by initiative and with all defensive stats in an easy-to-read format for quick overview. Each character's hit points can be easily updated with a simple click and add damage or healing received, the app will do the math for you (even doubling or halving the value to take in account saves or critical)! A reaction icon can be toggled on/off to keep track of who used it's reaction for the turn, it automatically come back on at the beginning of the character turn. Additional reactions can also be defined for any character (like the additional shield block from quick shield block).

Conditions can be added to any characters, the maximal duration may be defined and the condition will be removed automatically after the specified number of rounds. Some conditions have a value, which may be set to automatically decrease after each turn. The penalties to AC or saves score applied by conditions are taken in account to displayed the updated value of this scores below the characters.

Persistent damages can be added, the damages and recovery checks are automatically rolled at the end of the turn. Both results can be applied automatically or can be ignored and overridden manually if you prefer to roll it at the table.

The order is initially computed based on each character's initiative score, which is either manually entered or automatically rolled based on their perception or stealth score. This can also be reorganized with a simple drag and drop to account for the changes in initiative during the game (delay, dying, etc.).

Characters can be manually added to the tracker or loaded from the bestiary page containing all published NPCs from Paizo's books. An "encounter builder" screen let you see the xp budget of the encounter and its difficulty while you build it. You can adjust it easily with Weak or Elite template.
You can also manage parties of PCs for your regular games and quickly add them to any encounter. The PCs stat block can be manually created or imported from a Pathbuilder 2e character.

Finally, you can save any number of encounters you want and load them at a later time. This allows you to prepare the session beforehand or even save the current state of an encounter if you have to pause it.

Amazing app! With this you can keep track of everything without a computer and with ease. Hopefully they'll add tracking for conditions as well! I just wish there would be ways to contact the dev, to provide feedback and suggest updates!

Thank you for this nice review! In the "About" page of the application you can find a link to a GitHub page to leave feedback or suggestions, or if you prefer you can write directly a mail to 314r.app+pf2battletracker@gmail.com. Regarding the condition tracking, the development was on pause in the past month but is starting again now.

This Battle tracker is one of the best that I have found for Pathfinder 2e. It's very easy to use and the links that it has to Archives of Nethys are very helpful. The only thing that it's missing is the adding and tracking of conditions.

Thank you for your kind review. The Archives of Nethys feature was actually requested by another user in the Paizo forums, I didn't think about it myself ;). If you want to try the condition tracking early, a first work-in-progress version is already available in the Beta program. You can join and leave it at anytime through the playstore page.
