READING YOUR RESULT
The BMI formula divides weight by height squared. The World Health Organization reads the result on this scale for adults: below 18.5 is underweight, 18.5 to 24.9 is the healthy range, 25 to 29.9 is overweight, and 30 and above falls into obesity. The built-in BMI chart shows those bands at a glance so the meaning of your number is clear without looking anything up.

BMI has real limits, and the app says so plainly. It does not know the difference between muscle and fat, so a very muscular person can land in the overweight band while being perfectly healthy. It is a screening indicator, not a verdict.
