This app is absolutely fantastic. I particularly appreciate the ability to block other browsers (even if they aren't installed) + all new installed apps. If you pair this with Android's parental controls and a dns filter on your home router or a VPN blocker, you've essentially completely blockaded any access to explicit content!! Great work, guys! 😁

I didn't understand how useful this app would be until I got into using it regularly. It's able to hide ALL images on the web, which I hadn't realized is exactly what I needed. It saves me from the random temptations that are just everywhere in ads and even news sites. All it takes is the right image to get me looking at things I shouldn't look at. This app prevents that from even beginning. Only thing, I wish it also had an ad blocker, since I'm used to having one in other browsers.

Purity enables you to "lock yourself out", as it were, from any temptation. You can disable other browsers which then require a PIN to set up again. You can also choose to have someone else set the PIN, or set it randomly yourself so that you don't remember it, as well as set up an accountability partner who would be alerted if the app is uninstalled. After trying several different apps that didn't work with my phone, I am very grateful to have found one that empowers me to live in freedom.
