PromptSmart is a patented teleprompter application that automatically follows as you speak in real time, without the internet, making your presentations or video productions less stressful and more efficient.

PromptSmart is a one-of-a-kind prompting tool that scrolls automatically as you speak and then stops scrolling when you pause or improvise. During improvisation, the app will wait for you to begin speaking the script again before it continues scrolling. With PromptSmart, speakers stay calm and focused, saving time and energy. Not bad as a teleprompter. but as a file editor, on my second use it hung and failed to save 2 hours of editing. I would recommend version history and multiple save points so if the app hangs, or the Android device picks up phantom tabs you don't lose a lot of work. suggested workaround, use some other text editor until it's ready, and then download it to prompt smart until they get version history.

Installed this app a week ago. takes a while for the text to start moving, but I can live with that. Problem now is that it KEEPS CRASHING!!! When I hit play to load the document, it stops and crashes. Tried restarting and all the obvious stuff, no joy! What gives!? Fix this, I don't have time for an app that isn't reliable and $29.95 is not cheap for any app!

Would have definitely bought for the previous flat price of $19.99, or I would even pay $29.99 for it (current cost of the 1 year 'pro' mid-tier plan) if it was flat out but I hate subscriptions so I am going to pass. I just don't think a utility like this with these limited feature sets justify a subscription. (Approaching Hulu's monthly pricing, for example, for a very niche and specific function app) If you guys ever bring back flat subscription-free pricing, I'll be waiting.
