I had version 1 and the company upgraded me to version 2. However, there is such limited availability of beats that aren't 4/4. Especially true for rock and blues which makes it frustrating. 3/4 blues and rock needed. I'm also finding the loops to be a little laggy despite using the latest tablet by Samsung. If it can't keep time and lags on the turnaround it doesn't do me any good. I guess I should invest in a real drum machine. Not bad for a few bucks but certainly a bit frustrating.

The Metrodrummer metronome apps let you play the drummer (beats) with other musical apps like the Perfect Piano App (Chord Mode) while using a single smartphone. You can played both apps simultaneously while controlling the volume (loudness) of the drum beats. I find it useful as a musician who can sing and play Perfect Piano (chords) while having a virtual drummer accompanying me all the time. I can lead a small group of people singing without any musician around using a blue tooth speaker.

Cool program that could use a few more features to be perfect... - Needs a set list feature where you can build a set of songs, each containing the pattern and bpm, so you can cue up each song... Multiple song lists would be even better. - You should sell different drum kits that can be assigned as well (ideally you would be also be able to set the drum kit for a song in the setlist). - There are 4 user slots... How do you build your own patterns and store them?
