Empower Perimenopause Test
This new hormone test from Proov measures hormones for women who are curious about where they might be on their perimenopause journey. It evaluates hormone levels as well as menstrual changes and perimenopause symptoms. The Proov app then connects women who have completed the Empower test with treatments to manage their perimenopause symptoms.

Ratings and reviews

Serious flaws with the app. I bought a 5 pack for days 7dpo to days 10dpo. For most of that time I was unable to capture the photo of the sticks as the app kept blackening my screen and giving an error msg. The results I have are now inaccurate because they are outside of the timeframe window that was listed. But as of yesterday at least I know that I ovulated. It would have been nice to have ALL of the data collectively. This was a letdown.

I sped through the set up just trying to get my test read in 10 minutes. I figured I would be able to set my cycle days correctly after the fact. No such luck. Changing the date of my last cycle start refuses to save. I got my test read, but I'm just going to track my results in a different app. If they fix it, I'll update my review. Best of luck everyone.

Downloaded the app as a supplement to another tracking app I am using. It's hard to navigate, but the most frustrating thing is taking photos of test results. I tried in different lighting, uploading, and cropping when it prompts but it usually takes over 5 minutes to read the test. By then, the results aren't accurate anymore.

What's new

The Proov app now supports the Empower perimenopause test which allows women to measure their hormones, track symptoms, and understand their perimenopause journey. Proov also connects women to solutions for their symptoms including supplements for perimenopause symptoms and telehealth medical providers.
