About this app

Squeezy has been designed by chartered physiotherapists specialising in Women's Health working in the NHS. It is suitable for all women who want to do pelvic floor muscle exercises. The app is particularly aimed at women who are seeing a specialist physiotherapist for problems connected to their bladder, bowels or pelvic floor muscles as it can be tailored to a specific exercise programme and set to remind you when to do your exercises. It is simple to use, discreet, informative and has helpful visual and audio prompts to support your exercise programme plus it maintains a record of the number of exercises you have completed.

Squeezy has been reviewed and approved by the NHS Choices health apps library team for its clinical safety, and was a runner up in the finals of the Advancing Healthcare Awards 2014.

Such a simple and easy to use app that does just what it should do with no issues for me. The only thing I'd change is to have a dark mode that could ideally mirror my phone's settings. The white screen is rather jarring in a dark room in the evening, when switching from other apps that are all in dark mode.

Good when the notifications work. Didn't work for about 2 months despite doing everything the help section described to fix, un installed, reinstalled, nothing. Couldn't find anywhere to contact anyone about it. Got a new phone last week and thankfully notifications are working again. Reading the reviews I'm definitely not the only person having this issue, so despite what the responses are saying that the notifications do work.. it shouldn't be that hard and it's the only app I have issues with

Great app, has made such a difference! Notifications have helped especially, and I make sure not to swipe them away until I have completed the session, even if I'm a few hours late! Would be nice if it could run in a small window in the background, so I can use my phone while it is counting. Or just turn it into a game or something like Elvie have. Watching that circle is SO boring! 😆

Hi Zoe We designed the app this way to limit the app's use in the background or as a small second in picture screen under advisement from our clinical advisor. The recommendation was that the outcomes from using the app were better if it was an activity that the patient focused on. Hope this explains the reasoning for this. Kind regards Support
